When the tenants moved into this East Van heritage house, the minuscule bathroom had only a clawfoot tub with a water spout and wall-to-wall mint green paint. We combined bright white walls with custom cedar built-ins to cleanly carry the 1910 house's character through to the tiny space. Specialty plumbing fixtures turned the bath into a shower combo with visual appeal. A cedar shelf was custom fitted to showcase the unique plumbing and provide toiletry space in the bath area. The open bathroom cabinet was papered with a vintage anatomy print to allow for both art and storage in the tight space. As it is a rental unit, all the work can be harmlessly removed to travel with the tenant.
